Welcome to the 2018 Indian Film Festival of Melbourne – Australia’s biggest celebration of Indian cinema and culture.

This year’s festival is expected to attract more than 35,000 people to events across Melbourne, bringing together diverse communities through a shared love of film.

Alongside the film program, there are plenty of ways to get involved – from masterclasses to the perennially popular Bollywood Dance Competition.

With a strong children’s program this year, I especially encourage families to get along and experience something truly unique.

Festivals like IFFM make so many contributions to Victoria – socially, culturally and economically – and they’re a big reason why we’re the creative state.
