Samipya Raj Timalsena is a postgraduate in Anthropology, a freelance journalist, and a film professional from Nepal. Over the years, he has contributed to various national news portals, writing extensively on cinema, arts, and culture. He currently serves as the President of the Film Critics Society of Nepal (FISCON), where he works to strengthen film criticism and promote a vibrant film culture in the country.
Alongside his work as a journalist and critic, Timalsena is a screenplay writer and film producer. He is the producer of the feature film My Share of Sky (Ek Muthi Badal), a socially conscious film that has been recognized on the international festival circuit. Through his work, he remains committed to creating meaningful cinema while fostering critical discourse and the growth of Nepal's film industry.
