Terms of use

  1. All of the films shown at IFFM 2020 are protected under copyright laws and are for home viewing only. Unauthorised reproduction, recording or distribution of this work is illegal and you may incur a fine or prison time.
  2. Be sure to check the classification before watching a film. This information is available on the respective film pages.
  3. All films are free to watch, though we encourage you to donate to the Mental Health Foundation of Australia via our donate button.
  4. All films are available only in Australia. Our Talent Corner section is available worldwide.
  5. All films are available to watch from 10am to midnight on their scheduled days, unless otherwise specified in the schedule. The films’ scheduled availabilities are specified under the film title, once you select a film. Should you start watching just before the end time of the film’s availability, the film will play till end unless you refresh the page.
  6. Your e-mail addresses may be used for our IFFM database. Please unsubscribe after the festival should you wish to not receive any updates from us in the future.

IFFM is a platform for thought-provoking conversations, inspiring networking, and life-long friendships. To that end, all attendees, staff, filmmakers, sponsors and volunteers at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne are required to comply with the following code of conduct leading up to and throughout the festival.

IFFM has been dedicated to provide a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity & expression, sexual orientation, disability, age, physical appearance, race or ethnicity. This applies to all in-person and online/email interactions between participants & attendees. Our team will not tolerate harassment in any form. Harassment includes, but is not limited to: offensive verbal or online comments related to gender, gender identity & expression, sexual orientation, disability, age, physical appearance, race or ethnicity, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of films, Q&As or other events publically or through online communication channels.

We value your time and attendance, and we want everyone to enjoy all that Indian Film Festival of Melbourne has to offer. There will be no exceptions to this established Code of Conduct.
