You are walking the red carpet into a stunning theatre wearing your favourite gown or your perfectly ironed tux. There are flashing cameras everywhere, and you’re waving to a crowd of happy faces, lost in the world of glamour. The host suddenly approaches you and asks, “who are you wearing?”

Are you ready to make this fantasy come true and feel like a real star? Because oh boy, have we got something planned for you.

This year, our own Palais Theatre will light up with Indian film stars to confer some of our biggest, brightest, boldest, brilliant-est films. We will be welcoming the mega stars Abhishek Bachchan, Tamannaah, Vaani Kapoor, Kabir Khan, Kapil Dev, Shefali Shah, among many others to our vibrant awards night.

We also have lined up special performances including Parvyn and Janaki Easwar to make it a night of elegance and entertainment, and our presenters include Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton.

Rithvik Dhanjani

One of the blue-eyed boys of Indian television, Rithvik Dhanjani has won many hearts with his role in Pavitra Rishta. His gift of the gab has made him a very popular host across reality shows, award functions, events and so on. Straight from the sets of Super Dancer, India’s Got Talent and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi, the charming Rithvik Dhanjani is all set to make IFFM Awards Night the most colorful and energetic night ever!

Janaki Easwar

Janaki Easwar is a 13-year-old singer and the youngest contestant at the prestigious singing competition The Voice Australia. She won everyone’s hearts through her incredible rendition of ‘Lovely’ by Billie Eilish. Born in Melbourne while having familial roots in Kerala, she is also a songwriter and is trained in Carnatic music. We cannot wait for the lovely Janaki to perform at our awards night!

Parvyn

Parvyn is a Punjabi-Australian singer best known for her work in band The Bombay Royale and performing globally since childhood with her father Dya Singh. Parvyn’s current solo project represents a new step in her career and is informed by, soul and jazz, her background in Sikh devotional music and her training in classical Indian music and dance. Her debut solo record ‘Sa’, released in September 2021 was heralded as an ‘multi-genre, multicultural, masterpiece’ by The Australian.
